Mike N. Quijano served as a New Jersey State Police Training Commission Instructor as well as a cop in Camden, New Jersey.

Afterwards, he joined the military and served in Infantry, Airborne, Special Forces, Military Intelligence, etc. After retiring from the military as an NCO, he worked as an overseas security contractor in Africa. He has also worked in executive protection protecting the CEO's and their families for Google, Yahoo, Youtube, FB, Chevron, Wells Fargo, etc. He was also a police officer with the Oakland Police Department where he worked as a patrol officer, the violence suppression unit, etc.

He is now working with the California State Military Department where is now a commissioned 2nd Lieutenant. He also owns his own company and advises law enforcement departments and the military. He was a 3 time Muay Thai Province Champion in Thailand where he lived for over 5 years, has black belts or their equivalent in several other arts: Kyokushin, Goju Ryu, Wing Chun, etc. He has also trained in Krav Haganah at the C.R.I. Academy in Las Vegas, where his also a graduate of the PSD Course and Counter- Terrorism Program. He has trained at the Sig Sauer Academy, the NRA Instructor's course, and many other firearm related courses. He teaches the arts of Cocobale/Calinda (Puerto Rico Machete and Stick arts) and El Juego De Mani (Cuba). He has taught in Ireland, Italy, France, Puerto Rico, Africa, Panama, Thailand all over the U.S., etc.

He is originally from the Bronx, New York and now lives with his family in California. He is also an actor, filmmaker, stuntman/stunt driver, etc. He has just starred in, directed and produced the film Ranger coming out next month.
